FAQ

We offer free Wi-Fi to guests and have recently had the network strengthened so that it now covers the whole hotel which includes Rooms 1-8, The Suite, Apartment and now can even be picked up in our Garden.

Internet Access

The hotel has a private, gated courtyard behind the hotel which can accommodate up to 7 cars comfortably. For those staying on the Isles of Scilly we recommend that you park your cars with the exceptional IOS Parking who will not only pick up your but also offer a range of services including valet, servicing bodywork repair and MOT. Parking

Jean Shrimpton still owns the hotel and has done since 1979. Although Jean still regularly visits the hotel, her son Thaddeus (Thad) is now the Hotel Manager and has been running the hotel for the last 2 years since moving back from London with wife and 2 young children.

As Thad grew up at the hotel and lived in what is now The Suite for over 10 years , he is very familiar with the history of the hotel, it’s curious ghost stories and more.

Dogs

We love dogs here and will happily allow them to stay at the hotel for no extra charge and if they are well behaved they might be lucky enough to get an extra sausage for breakfast.
